Corporate administrators are involved in almost every organisational function, from policy implementation and asset management to corporate-social responsibility and information management. Although the specific duties of these administrators could vary with whether an organisation is publicly or privately held, they commonly perform the following tasks;

  • Liaise with board members and senior executive to discuss various organisational matters
  • Maintain key company records, including minute meetings, business contracts and trade secrets
  • Participate in the development and implementation of organisational policies
  • Maintain communication between an organisation and its shareholders
  • Draft speeches for top executives, deliver speeches in conferences and seminars and respond to corporate emails
  • Resolve departmental problems and participate in employee performance evaluation
  • Ensure organisations adhere to relevant corporate laws and regulations
